SO MANY DIED FOR US…
IT’S TIME SOMEONE LIVES FOR THEM
The Veterans’ Compound is a DMZ for service men and women to work with their strategists and unlock non-traditional thinking with regard to their approach to re-entering the private sector.
We offer creative thinking models for soldiers looking for a way to channel their experience, strength, insecurities and PTSD effects into creation of the arts with small, targeted master classes, training events, national gatherings and an ever-growing list of resources.
The Veterans’ Compound is a place that serves for the veterans first and for their future, second. Our programs offer personal and group training in specialty entertainment fields like screenwriting, camera, editing, production design, line producing, grip and electric, location and post-production sound, music composition, recording and engineering and more all at the hands of working professionals in their respective fields.
A FAMILIAR APPROACH TO CREATIVITY
Freeform master classes for veterans capitalize on their military confidences and transcribes their training to creative endeavors by customizing guidance efforts for each vet according to their military service.
A different approach to traditional classrooms, The Veterans’ Compound applies learning to environments that begin in simulated field conditions and transition over the course of the program to actual production environments.
IN A NUTSHELL
The Veterans' Compound will train veterans in the creative fields associated with filmmaking, music and the creative arts while creating its own content and offering veterans who work to create the content ownership in the content as a way of earning longer term royalties, residuals and other payments from their efforts.
WHERE WE ARE WITH THINGS
The Veterans’ Compound IS NOT YET AN OFFICIAL 501c3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, therefore current donations are not tax deductible. However, we are working tirelessly to secure our startup capital to pursue our official non-profit status and will make our progress with regard to this process completely transparent.
