WHAT IS DEF-CON 1
Romero Pictures' Indie Brigade Def-Con 1 is, what we believe to be, the first online-only, live streaming convention for the indie community.
Def-Con 1 is a brand new concept by Romero Pictures and the Indie Brigade and is designed to not only bring our community of indie creators together, but also as a way for indie creators to reach and interact with their fans while providing a centralized vendor space for fans and ticket holders to support their favorite artists.
In light of the current state of emergency surrounding the Coronavirus: Covid-19, our vendors, artists and celebrities keep 100% of their sales and there is no cost for them to participate. Def-Con 1 is a convention for the community to help support itself through these turbulent times.
HOW IT WORKS
We couldn’t make things any easier for convention goers during this time. Ticket holders will be emailed the links required to get into the convention.
On the days of the convention 3/28 & 3/29 2020, the links will go live and ticket holders will have access to our live streams.
If you purchased a ticket that includes interaction with a celebrity, you will be placed in a queue and brought on screen one at a time to speak with the celebrity you selected at the time of your ticket purchase. Ticket holders will have 1-2 minutes with their celebrity and will receive a screenshot of their interaction via email.
Ticket holders are provided viewing access to the entire convention, so feel free to stick around and watch the whole show!
Ticket holders are also provided access to all of the Day 2 panels. Interaction on Day 2 is limited to comments during the live stream.
STREAMS WILL BE BROKEN INTO TWO SESSIONS AS FACEBOOK LIMITS STREAMS TO 8 HOURS EXACTLY SO TO AVOID BEING CUT OFF, WE WILL BE DOING ONE STREAM OF 4 HOURS FOLLOWED BY ANOTHER STREAM OF 4 HOURS. IN THE EVENT THAT EITHER SESSION GOES LONG, WE ARE COVERED THIS WAY.
